A minimum of two guaranteed graduate roles (across various departments) within the Essendon Football Club will be offered to graduates on completion of the curriculum.
Outside of EFC, potential career pathways from completing the course include (either in a sports club or other businesses):
Assistant Manager
Administrative Assistant
Project Administrator/Coordinator
Resource Coordinator
Marketing or Social Media Coordinator

Successful completion of the Dual Diploma offers a guaranteed pathway into a Bachelor of Business at RMIT i.e. guaranteed 96 credit points which is equivalent to 12 months of the Bachelor of Business degree. This means you complete the Bachelor of Business in two years and effectively earn three qualifications in three years.

100 hours of work-based placement within the Essendon Football Club and its partner network
Exposure to Essendon Football Club football operations, fan engagement, membership operations, community engagement, marketing and media communications, events, clinics and more
Guest presentations from EFC staff, coaches, and players
Networking opportunities with staff at the Essendon Football Club

No ATAR requirement
Year 12 graduate: successful completion of Australian Year 12 or equivalent; or the Australian Senior VCAL Certificate
Non-Year 12: completion of post-secondary studies or at least 6 months’ work experience

Yes, you will need to provide a transcript for courses undertaken at another training provider. Where eligible, credit transfers can be applied to any course that fits the criteria. Contact us to make further enquiries.

Approximately 15 hours of classroom studies per week over three days. Classes will delivered at the Hangar as well as RMIT city campuses.

The next intake is scheduled to commence 15 July, 2024.

There will be a formal application and interview process to fill these roles but participation in this will be limited to the students participating in the course.
The specific roles available for graduates will depend on a number of factors, including (but not limited to):
Demand from EFC for roles and responsibilities at the time of recruitment
The capability of students demonstrated across the course
The interest / preferences of students to be involved in various departments across EFC
Relationships built between student and EFC staff across the duration of the course
Mid-year graduating students will have the opportunity to apply for the Graduate positions at the end of the calendar year.
